Day
1

Bishkek

Meeting at Bishkek with guide and driver. Checking-in at the hotel, rest for a while. Brief city tour. Overnight at hotel. Capital of Kyrgyzstan has its own charm and atmosphere. We are going to visit it's parks, monuments, museums, theaters, galleries and any place that you would like to see.

2

Bishkek- Tokmok- Cholpon-Ata

Breakfast. We'll drive to the northern shore of a major Kyrgyzstan lake, Issyk-Kul, where we will take part in making national kyrgyz meal, "shorpo" in the city of Tokmok. Shorpo is a stew, and found not only in kyrgyz, but also at the number of other national cuisines across the central Asia. Kazakh and Kyrgyz people usually made it with boiled lamb or beef with vegetables. Further driving to Cholpon-Ata. Visit open-air petroglyphs museum. Overnight at guesthouse.

Cholpon-Ata- Karakol

Breakfast. Transfer to the eastern shore of the lake, towards the city of Karakol. Today's spotlights are highlighting "kuurdak" for dinner! It's a traditional dish, made from roasted meat, mixed with onion and potatoes. Dish is universal, and in some regions you can see the variations of it, with added liver, kidneys, lungs for different taste and flavour. Additional vegetables, like potatoes, carrot or pumpking can also be added to make it 'light'. Overnight at guesthouse.

Karakol- Jety- Oguz- Bokombaevo

Shortly after breakfast we will visit gorge of Jety-Oguz. Leisure time. Lately we will visit one of the local yurts, where hospitable nomads will ofer us to try national beverage - kumys. Kumys is a mare's milk, which was fermented after it was gathered. After that we continue traveling to the southern shore of Issyk-Kul to Bokonbaev village, where we will try national food "DImlyama". It's very fine national meal and usually is made of  potatoes, meat, carrot, cabbage, tomatoes, onions, pepper and garlic, cooked in kazan (cooking pot made from cast iron). Overnight at home stay.

Bokombaevo - Kochkor

Breakfast. Then we will drive you Kochkor village. Place is widely known for its hand-made souvenirs and crafts. Exposition of national felt carpet, shyrdak and making process. Making oromo (meat roulette). Overnight at home stay.

Kochkor - Son-Kul

Breakfast. Transfer to Son-Kul. Making "kesme" (noodles). Kesme is a traditional noodle Central Asian dish. Dough that is used for noodles is made from four, water, salt and eggs. Whole process would be shown to you. When final ingredient, strips are made it can be both boiled right away with some vegetables and meat, or left for hardening and used later. Usually made in kazan. Overnight at yurt camp.

Son-Kul - Tash-Rabat - Naryn

Drive-through to Tash-Rabat. Leisure time exploring the area. Transfer to Naryn district. Making Besh-Barmak. Name refers to "five fingers" in Kyrgyz, and that is the instruction of how you should eat it. Boiled chunks of meat then are carefully sliced and diced and then mixed with some onion and boiled noodles. Served in a large plate.

Naryn - Bishkek

Breakfast. Transfer back to capital Bishkek. Visit Burana Tower on the track. Check-in at a hotel.

Burana tower is a remainder of an ancient city, called Balasagyn founded at foothills of Shamshy valley. First stones were laid in 10th century and this place was a hometown of Jusup Balasagyn (1015-...), famous poet, who wrote poem Kutadgu Bilim ("knowledge that brings happiness"), which was translated into several languages - including recent English version, translated by Walter May.

Bishkek - Airport

Breakfast. Airport transfer

Day 9. Bishkek- Osh
Breakfast. Then we will take you to the airport. Plane to Osh. Check-in at the guest house. Osh city tour. Making Kyrgyz national dish, Plov. Plov is made of rice, onion, meat and carrot with adding different spices. Overnight stay at the guest house.

Day 10. Osh- Jalal-Abad- Arslanbob
Breakfast. Way to Arslanbob, walnut forest reserve. Uzgen complex and city of Jalal-Abad is on the way. Cooking “Boorsok” for dinner. Boorsok is cut dough pieces rolled and fried in oil.Traditional table decoration element, made in large quantities. Usually they are spread over the dastorkon. Dastorkon is a tablecloth and usually that words means that it's already covered with food upon it. Boorsok served at every major holiday, celebration or event. Overnight at home stay.

Day 11. Arslanbob- Osh- Bishkek
Breakfast. Osh. Evening flight to Bishkek. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation at a hotel.

Day 12. Bishkek - Airport
Transfer to the airport “Manas”
