Batken is the administrative center of Batken region. It is located in the south of the country, about 240 km from the city of Osh.

Aigul-Tash Mountain is located near the village of Kara-Bulak in Batken region. The mountain has steep rocky slopes. This place is really unique, because only here grows the flower-endemic Aigul.
