Naryn region has always been a land of nomads who lived here in harmony with nature and constantly moved from winter to summer pastures. In the region you can see the real miracles of nature. Here is the springhead of he most extensive and powerful river of the country Naryn which has a huge hydropower potential. There are many large and small glaciers with a total area of ​​over 1,400 square meters, accumulating significant reserves of fresh water. High in the mountains you can seen a number of beautiful breathtaking lakes. The most famous and largest of them are the lakes Son-Kul and Chatyr-Kul.

Summer
In summer you can live in one of the most famous jailoo of Naryn (Sarala-Saz, Djumgal, Jamal Echki, Kilemche) and experience the lifestyle and culture of pastoralists. Here you can taste the national drink of fermented mare's milk called kumys that has amazing healing properties. Kumys therepy is widely practiced in jailoos. The passes Dolon, Kalmak-Ashu, Moldo-Ashu and Kyzart offer the most wonderful views.

Winter
In some places of Naryn region there is very frosty winter, with temperatures down to -50 degrees Celsius. Therefore, winter tourism is possible only in the northern part of the region. Skiers and snowboarders will be able to feel the charm of freeride skiing on wild mountain slopes.
