In the valley of Besh-Tash, on the banks of a river there stretches for 30 km a national park established in 1996. It occupies the area of more than 32 thousand hectares.

This corner of nature gathered an unprecedented variety of flora and fauna. There grow more than 800 species of plants and inhabit more than 2000 species of insects. You can also find such rare species of animals as mountain sheep, Turkestan lynx, snow leopard, golden eagle, kumai and balaban.

In the river Besh-Tash the rainbow trout can be found. At the altitude of about 3000 m there is a lake 28 m deep, the water in which has a delightful tint of turquoise.
