Arpa Valley
The long Arpa Valley is located in the south of Naryn region. Its dimensions are 60 by 32 km.

The long Arpa Valley is located in the south of Naryn region. Its dimensions are 60 by 32 km. From all sides the valley is surrounded by mountains: Ferghana, Torugart, At-Bashy ridges and mountain ranges Ortok-Too-Too and Jamal.
Arpa Valley is lies at 2,900 m above sea level. The climate here is harsh enough: winter is cold; summer is warm, but short. Snow depth may exceed 60 cm. Meadows of the valley are used as pasture for livestock.
