Kara-Bulak Gorge
Kara-Bulak is a small, beautiful place hidden in the Kyrgyz Ala-Too mountain range. It is located 27 km. from the city of Bishkek.
When you are driving along the Tatyr road to the Chunkurchak gorge, you may not notice a turn in the Kara-Bulak gorge, to which you still have to climb a steep pass with a serpentine. The gorge is hidden in the Kyrgyz Ala-Too ridge, 27 km. away from the capital Bishkek. The landscape is rich in colorful rocks, green hills, a beautiful waterfall and many springs and streams.
Here you can take a walk or horse ride to the panorama of the Chui Valley and the city of Bishkek. And also see the amazing snow-capped mountains of the Tien Shan and enjoy the beauty of nature.
The Kara-Bulak resort, located in the gorge, provides an opportunity to taste national cuisine, stay overnight, visit a sauna and other activities.
