Padysh-Ata reserve is located on the territory of Jalal-abad region, western Tien-Shan. The reserve area equals 30,560 hectares.
Padysh-Ata reserve is located on the territory of Jalal-abad region, western Tien-Shan. The reserve area equals 30,560 hectares. It was established not long time ago, in 2003, and main goal of it was to preserve juniper forests.
Unique plant grows here, endemic of the republic - Semenov silver fir. Moreover this place is peculiar, because here you can meet a rare animal – snow leopard. Jalal-Abad region is sacred valley and it deserves its name for here are located many sacred places. One of these is Padysh-Ata Mazars that is located on the territory of the reserve. Those people, who like esoteric tourism and ecotourism will discover here many exceptional and rewarding moments.
