One of the oldest towns in Kyrgyzstan Uzgen is located 56 km to the north-east of the city of Osh. The town's population is about 50 thousand people. The town was founded in 7th-9th centuries.
At the foot of Lenin Peak there is a base camp for climbers. Its name is Achyk-Tash. The base camp is open during the warmer months, from June to September.
Kulunatin national reserve is located in the South of Kyrgyz Republic, Osh region. It covers the territory of Ferghana and Alai mountain range. The reserve was established in 2004 for preservation of biodiversity of these lands.

In the valley of the Abshir-Say, 70 km from the city of Osh there is the amazing waterfall Abshir-Ata. The valley lies at the altitude of 1500-2500 meters above sea level.
