At Altitudes of Terskey Ala-Too

This tour is designed for good trekkers, the trail is not difficult, but we trek through passes at altitude more than 3800 meters, between dry zone with red rocks and glaciers of the Terskey Ala-Too. The main curiosities are the Issyk Kul lake and Ala Kul lake.

Day
1

Bishkek - Tamga

Meeting at the Manas airport or at the border post Kordai. Transfer to a guest house in the center of Bishkek. After breakfast, transfer to Tamga village, on the southern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul. On the way visit the falconer. Arrival in Tamga village, accommodation in a guest house.

Tamga - Chon Kyzyl Suu

After breakfast, transfer to the Chon Kyzyl-Suu. Meeting with a guide horse. Strat walking tour of the warm springs. A picnic in the woods. Later in the afternoon we get to the place of the camp in the valley Kashka-Tor. Dinner and overnight in tents at the altitude of 2900 meters.

The transition to the Jeti-Oguz valley over the pass Archa T

In the morning we go to the side of the pass Archa Tor at a height of 3800m. Picnic for the pass. Descent to the Jeti-Oguz gorge. A camp for 2 nights. Dinner and overnight in tents. 6/7 hours on foot, elevation change: + 900 m/-1000 m.

Day walk in Jeti-Oguz valley

After breakfast we will go into the Jeti-Oguz. Picnic at the foot of the Oguz-Bashi peak (5168 m). The way back to camp. Night in tents. 6/7 hours on foot, elevation: +/-900 meters.

Transition under the pass Teleti

Descent Jeti-Oguz gorge to the intersection with the gorge Teleti. We will rise along the river to the foot of the pass Teleti. Of a camp. Night in tents. 6/7 hours on foot. Vertical drop: - 200 m + 700 m

Transition Teleti pass - Karakol valley

After breakfast we will climb to the pass at the height of 3850m Teleti. Lovely panoramic view of the pass. Descent to Karakol gorge. Setting camp in Chon-Tash, the large stone. Dinner and overnight in tents. 6/7 hours on foot. Drop: + 600 m - 900 m

Karakol gorge

We'll go for a walk into the gorge Karakol. Picnic in the mountains and the way back to the camp in Karakol gorge. Night in tents. 7:00 walk. Vertical drop + / - 800 meters

Hut Sirota

Morning descend to the bridge over the river Karakol. The transition to the gorge Takyr Tor. Climb to the hut at 2900 m Sirota Setting camp in the woods. Dinner and overnight in tents. 5/6 hours on foot. Drop: - 200 m/+600 m

Ala-Kul pass – Altyn Arashan valley

Start early. We go up to the Ala-Kul lake, which is located at an altitude of 3500 m. Continuing to Ala-Kul pass at 3800m. Panoramic views of the peaks Djigit (5200 m), Karakol (5120 m.) The descent into the gorge Keldike. Dinner. The descent into the gorge Altyn Arashan. Accommodation in tents. Swimming in the warm springs. Dinner and overnight in tents. 8/9 hours on foot. Drop: + 900 m/- 1200 m

The pass Liailiak

Morning moving to the side of the gorge Anyr Tor. Picnic on the way. Approach to the foot of the pass Ak-Suu (3600 m.) Dinner and overnight in tents. 4/5 hours on foot. Vertical drop: +700 m

The transition to the Ak-Suu gorge

Early in the morning we will climb to the pass Ak-Suu, which is located at an altitude of 3600 m, descent to the valley of Ak-Suu. Crossing the river bridge and a camp on the bank of the river. Dinner and overnight in tents. 5/6 hours. Drop: + 500 m/- 700 m

The descent to the warm springs Ak-Suu - Transfer to Karakol

Descent to the warm springs of Ak-Suu, where we meet our driver. Driving to Karakol. Night in a guest house. 6/7 hours on foot

Transfer to Bishkek

Moving to the capital along the northern shore of Issyk-Kul. Stop in Cholpon-Ata, the ability to swim in Lake Issyk-Kul. Arrival in Bishkek. Accommodation in a hotel. Dinner in the city center.

Transfer to Manas airport or border post Kordai

This program is for people who can go on foot for 6-7 hours per day. Kyrgyz visa is not required for citizens of the following countries: CIS, EU, the U.S.A., Switzerland and Japan. (www.mfa.kg). A passport valid at least for 6 months is needed. Compiled program is exemplary. It can be changed due to schedule flights, weather conditions or your individual order.
