We invite you to take an adventure off-road trip to Kel-Suu Lake located in the Naryn Region close to the Chinese border. On the way we will meet nomads at yurt camps and explore nomadic life. Actually, on this trip we will see 3 of Kyrgyzstan's beautiful mountain lakes: Son-Kul Lake , Kel-Suu Lake and Issyk-Kul Lake.
Meeting at the Manas airport. Transfer to Bishkek city to rest in hotel and breakfast. After resting, drive to the beautiful Too-Ashu Pass (3500 m.). Picnic along the way. This area has great photo and video opportunities. Enjoy the fresh mountain air and scenery. Visiting Suusamyr Valley and Kokomeren Valley. Arrival by evening to red valley of Kyzyl-Oi. Dinner and accommodation in the guest house.
Breakfast, continue to drive up through Kokomeren Valley. Visiting Jumgal Valley and few villages on the way. Picnic on the way. From Jumgal we will turn to Kara-Keche Pass (3350 m.) that reach Lake Son-Kul - the second most popular mountain lake at 3010 m. Local people call it - the Land of Nomads because it's a big summer pasture where nomads come for grazing form all Naryn Region. Arrival in Son-Kul Lake. Dinner and accommodation in the yurt camp - nomad's house.
After breakfast drive up to panorama of the lake. Visiting nomads on the way and discover their traditions. Watching horse nomad games - Ulak Tartysh, Tyin-Ene and Kyz-Kuumai. Lunch in yurt camp. Continue to drive to Kok-Jyrty Pass (33 parrots, 3200 m.). 1 hour walk to the Son-Kul waterfall in Kok-Jyrty Valley. Arrival in Naryn city. Dinner and accommodation in the hotel.
Star driving early in the morning. Breakfast on the way. Visiting At-Bashi and Ak-Bosogo Valley. Checking border permissions at the Ak-Bosogo post. Continue to drive to Ak-Sai Valley at 3000 m. Visiting Kok-Kiya Valley with panorama on amazing Sary-Beles mountain range. Arrival in Kel-Suu Lake that situated at 3500 m. Picnic on the fresh air near the lake. Arrival in Naryn by evening. Dinner and accommodation in hotel.
Drive through Eki-Naryn Valley and Tosor Pass (3850 m.) to Tamga valley (or. Bokonbaevo depending on weather conditions). Stop along the way for a picnic near a mountain stream. Drive to the pearl of Kyrgyzstan, Issyk-Kul Lake, which is full of color. The second biggest mountain lake in the world (1600 m.). You can take some beautiful pictures and videos here. Arrival in Tamga village. Dinner and accommodation in the guest house.
After breakfast drive on the southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake. Visiting Jeti-Oguz Gorge "7 bulls" Valley and driving up to panorama of Oguz-Bashi mountain range. We will visit Kok-Jaiyk summer pasture and nomads of Issyk-Kul Region. Walk to Maiden Tears Waterfall in the valley. Picnic and meeting eagle falconry. Arrival by the evening in Karakol. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast. Start driving to the east part of Issyk-Kul, near the Kazakhstan's border. Drive up to Chong-Ashu Pass (3800 m.). Checking border permissions in Sary-Jaz post. Continue to drive to Sary-Jaz Valley and panorama to Tengri mountains. There are possible to see Khan-Tengri Peak in good weather. Picnic on the way. Visiting Karkara and San-Tash Valleys. Back to Karakol for dinner. Overnight at the hotel.
Transfer to Manas airport. Fly home.

If there are high water levels in the river on the way to Lake Kel Suu and vehicles cannot pass, customers and equipment will cross via horseback. The climate in Kyrgyzstan is continental, and the temperature in the mountains during different parts of the day can range from + 30 to -15 degrees Celsius, so we encourage travelers to bring warm shoes, warm clothing, sunscreen and sunglasses, as well as individual sleeping bags.
