There are two powerful hydroelectric stations: Toktogul and Kurpsai. The reservoir had been built for more than 10 years, and now when you look at it you understand that it is a real man-made miracle. Having a good time on the shore of Toktogul reservoir is popular with residents and visitors of Jalal-Abad region.
In summer the water is warm and pleasant which is a real bliss for lovers of swimming. Fans of fishing can also find something interesting here. Various species of fish such as trout, carp, pike, carp are usual for the reservoir.
